Team Offerings
SBC offers program accompaniment:  metaphorically "walking" with your team to assess, reflect on, & collaboratively improve the quality of services delivered & staff’s sense of ownership & satisfaction in their work. This approach is rooted in Partners in Health's global community health worker "accompaniment" model, as adapted towards US racial equity in health care by Dr. Heidi Behforouz & the PACT Project team.

Accompaniment looks different for each program but may include: tailored training, coaching, curriculum development, team building, & listening support. Using person-centered & strengths-based approaches, including resources from holistic health & spiritual traditions, the aim is to support the highest quality services for marginalized populations. SBC prioritizes programs serving communities most impacted by health disparities including communities of color, immigrant/refugee communities, transgender & nonbinary folx.
