Amistad, Portland, ME since 2022 Offering holistic clinical supervision for Amistad's staff for their drop-in space serving Southern Maine, including street/encampment outreach in partnership with COSI, a local prevention & care collective by & for people who use drugs. Boston LGBTQ Needs Assessment, Boston, MA since January 2023 In partnership with OCHA Transformations & funded by BPHC, this collaborative CDC-funded project aims to assess unmet community need and tap our creativity for a new vision for a thriving local LGBTQ community. Components include “Community Conversations” with specific (elder, trans/non-binary people, BIPOC youth, people with disabilities, Latinx communities, first generation Bostonians), virtual focus groups/interviews with diverse care providers and a Consensus Workshop to synthesize & prioritize actionable recommendations for the City. Responsibilities include project design, group facilitation, and sourcing meaningful input from our team of Community Consultants and Community Working Group. Fourth Presbyterian/Peace by Piece, Boston, MA since 2019 Using the Corey Johnson Program for Trauma Healing model, Jules accompanies monthly community healing groups at 4th Presbyterian Church in South Boston. These interfaith gathering spaces have included community dinner, artistic offerings, & intergenerational safer space for reflection & sharing of traumatic losses, coping, & resilience. JRI Health, Roxbury, MA, since 2013 Offering holistic clinical supervision & training to grassroots HIV prevention & care staff, including the PACT Project CHWs, Peer Support staff, & the team at Boston GLASS. Maine Access Points, Brunswick, ME, since 2021 Offering holistic clinical supervision & training to MAP's team providing overdose prevention and harm reduction services throughout rural Maine. NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene, Bureau of HIV Care & Treatment Program, New York, NY, since 2011 Offering training, technical assistance, & curriculum development to programs citywide including Care Coordination, Harm Reduction, & Mental Health teams. Coaching with program directors, clinical supervisors, & patient navigators focuses on Health Promotion, Motivational Interviewing, Group Facilitation, PrEP Access, U=U, & Core Skills for Supervisors. SEIU, Local 1199, Boston, MA, since 2013 Created skills-building curriculum, in partnership with Personal Care Attendants (PCAs), people with disabilities, & the union's training team to train thousands of home-based health care workers statewide each year. |
