​Fourth Presbyterian/Peace by Piece, Boston, MA since 2019
Using the Corey Johnson Program for Trauma Healing model, Jules accompanies monthly community healing groups at 4th Presbyterian Church in South Boston. These interfaith gathering spaces have included community dinner, artistic offerings, & intergenerational safer space for reflection & sharing of traumatic losses, coping, & resilience. 

JRI Health, Roxbury, MA, since 2013
Offering holistic clinical supervision & training to grassroots HIV prevention & care staff, including the PACT Project CHWs, Peer Support staff, & the team at Boston GLASS.


Maine Access Points, Brunswick, ME, since 2021
Offering holistic clinical supervision & training to MAP's team providing overdose prevention and harm reduction services throughout rural Maine.

SEIU, Local 1199, Boston, MA, since 2013
Created skills-building curriculum, in partnership with Personal Care Attendants (PCAs), people with disabilities, & the union's training team to train thousands of home-based health care workers statewide each year.

Developing curriculum & training to increase capacity among Community Health Worker (CHWs) to support equitable access to behavioral health care. 

AIDS Action, Cambridge, MA, 2018-2022
Offering holistic clinical supervision & training to incredible HIV harm reduction teams, such as Youth on Fire (Youth Homelessness Drop-in Center) and formerly including ACCESS (Drug User Health Program) .

Anansi Health, Boston, MA, 2014-2018
Offered training & TA to projects nationally alongside primary care doctors, for this community health consulting agency. Focus on developing & supporting CHW programs to reduce disparities & improve health outcomes for patients with chronic diseases in resource-poor areas. Clients included Thundermist Health Centers, RI, Tri-County Rural Health Network, AR, & Inland Empire Health Plan, CA.


Boston LGBTQ Needs Assessment, Boston, MA, 2023
In partnership with OCHA Transformations & funded by BPHC, this collaborative CDC-funded project assessed unmet community needs, tapping our creativity for a new vision for a thriving local LGBTQ community. Components included “Community Conversations” with specific (elder, trans/non-binary people, BIPOC youth, people with disabilities, Latinx communities, first generation Bostonians), virtual focus groups/interviews with diverse care providers and a Consensus Workshop to synthesize & prioritize actionable recommendations for the City. Responsibilities included project design, group facilitation, and sourcing meaningful input from our team of Community Consultants and Community Working Group.

Can We Talk? Dorchester/Roxbury, Boston, MA, 2019-2021
Accompanied monthly community healing groups at a 4-church collaboration using the model pioneered by Roxbury Presbyterian Church at the Corey Johnson Program for Trauma Healing.

​Engagewell, COVID Accompaniment Project, New York, NY, 2020
Offered tailored, virtual group & individual wellness support for frontline harm reduction staff & managers in NYC at member agencies including The Alliance for Positive Change, Bridging Access to Care, GMHC, HousingWorks, Lower East Side Harm Reduction Center, & Washington Heights Corner Project.

Global Health Corps, New York, NY, 2014-2016
Offered training to staff & participants for this international public health fellowship program around mental health, stress management, cross-cultural communication skills, & spiritual resources for social justice work. Offered chaplaincy to fellows as part of the Still Harbor team. Training sites included US, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, & Zambia.


Health Innovations/Healthy Streets, Lynn, Ma, 2019-2020. 
Offered clinical supervision to the team providing outreach, overdose prevention, & syringe exchange in North Shore communities hit hard by the opioid epidemic & the war on drugs.

LA County Department of Health, Los Angeles, CA, 2014-2017 
Offered training for pilot programs aimed at reducing health disparities in LA using CHWs to engage out-of-care patients. Facilitated sessions for new CHWs, supervisors, & clinic collaborators in partnership with Worker Education Resource Center (WERC). 


MA Department of Public Health, Boston, MA, 2015-2020
Helped to develop & implement an intensive Motivational Interviewing curriculum for CWHs statewide working in chronic disease care including training collaborators at clinics & training of trainers. Training partners included Lowell Community Health Center &
Hilltown Community Health Center. 

NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene, Bureau of HIV Care & Treatment Program, New York, NY, 2011-2024
Offering training, technical assistance, & curriculum development to programs citywide including Care Coordination, Harm Reduction, & Mental Health teams. Coaching with program directors, clinical supervisors, & patient navigators focuses on Health Promotion, Motivational Interviewing, Group Facilitation, PrEP Access, U=U, & Core Skills for Supervisors.


North Shore Health Project/One Stop, Gloucester, MA, 2019-2020
Offering holistic clinical supervision & training to tenacious HIV harm reduction staff providing outreach, overdose prevention, & syringe exchange working within drug-user human rights framework.

Primary Care Development Corporation, NY, NY, 2014-2019
Under a CDC prevention grant, offered training, technical assistance, webinars, & curriculum development for health centers & hospitals adding patient navigators into their services for HIV+ & high risk patients at Whittier Street Health Center, Zinberg Clinic, & Callen-Lorde Community Health Center.
